    不相信一切所谓的人生导师。在这个没有上帝的世界上,
    谁敢说自己已经贯通一切歧路一切绝境,因而不再困惑,也不再需要寻找了?
    至于我,我将永远困惑,也永远寻找 .
     
     
    困惑是我的诚实,寻找是我的勇敢.

    What is karam?

    何为因果

     

    Karma is a Sanskrit word that literally means “action” the word is used to refer to volitional acts as well as the forces that arise from these acts .the idea of karma had existed in ancrent Indian philosophy before the time of Siddhartha Gautama ,and it became an important element of Buddhist philosophy

    因果在梵语中的字面意思为“行为”,它指日常行为以及源于这些行为所带来的力量。因果思维早于释加莫尼时代已经存在于古印度的哲学体系中了。它已经成为佛学哲学体系中的一个重要因素了。

     

    The Hindu and Buddhist concepts of karma are quite similar.although Hinduism makes a further distinction between different types of karma .such as present kamara ,latent karma,and future kamara.ln the understanding of both thought systems, the law of kamara describes the connection between  actions and the resulting forces ,as follows: wholesome actions lead to wholesome states while unwholesome actions lead to unwholesome states.individually as collectively .

     

    印度教和佛教中有关因果的理念是十分相似的,尽管印度教对于各种不同的因果类型进行了更深入的区别,象目前因果,潜在因果,和未来因果等等。在两个思维体系的理解中,因果法则阐明了行为和结果的力量,比如,健全的行为导致健全的状况,然而,非健全的行为导致非健全状况。每个人及团体均是如此。

    To make this more intelligible ,one has to account for (un)wholesome actions and (un)wholesome atates and their respective meaning in Buddhism .The former is outlined in the Noble Eightfold Path ,Action spring from volition .which springs from intention ,which springs from thought ,and so forth.The quality of action can be described in ethical terms, simply as either good  or bad ,or both good and bad ,or indifferent

     

    为了能清晰的加以领悟,我们必须说明(非)健全的行为的意思和(非)健全行为的带来的状况以及在佛教中分别的意义。前者是八正道(注:正见、正心、正语、正业、正命、正精进、正念、正定等)的轮廓,行为源于意念,目的,思维等等,有品质的行为可以用道德伦理的术语来描述,简单的说是好的或坏的中的一种,或者介于好坏之间,或是中立的。

     

     

    There are various grades of ethical qualities ;and most people have an intuitive understanding that enables them to discern between good and bad ,although the discerning ability depends on the person’s state of mental development , A wise person at a high level of mental development can clearly discern mental  activities and actions in an ethical dimension ,while a deluded person has difficulties or is even unable to do so.

     

    有多种等级的所谓有品质的道德伦理,大多数人与生具来可以凭直觉区别好的还是坏的,尽管如此,这种区别能力的大小决定了人的心智发展的好坏与否。一个有智慧的人有着高水平的心智发展,这使得他能清楚的区别在道德方面的心智活动和行为,然而愚蠢的人会难以甚至不能够加以区别。

    Wherever the three defilements-delusion ,greed and aversion are present ,they blur the view and increase the level of confusion in the individual or group ,Consequently if the defilements are present ,there is a low level of skill in distinguishing between good and bad actions ,Thus it makes sence to say that we have skilful (good) and unskillful (bad)thoughts,we speak skilful (good)and unskillful(bad)words,and we act either in a skilful (good) or in an unskiful (bad) way .

     

    无论在何处都存在三种干扰---迷惑,贪欲和憎恨,它们会模糊了我们的观点,增加个人和团体的困惑,因而,如果这种因素存在的话,会降低我们区别好与坏的行为的判断水准,有道理讲我们先有好的和坏的思考,再有好的和坏的言语,最后让我们的行为向好的和坏的方面发展。

     

    The Buddhist Precepts and the Ten Perfectiona give concrete meaning to good and bad and explain skilful and unskillful volitional acts in detail .Since everything in Buddhism is interrelated the Eightfold Path must be seen in connection ,with the Four Noble Truths,the concept of karma ,and the tenet of rebirth,

    Moral quality of volitional acts determines karma

    The law of karma states that there is a connection between the moral quality ,the level of skill in volitional actions ,and the resulting states ,what we are is determined largely by what we thought ,said and did in the past .while what we are thinking ,saying ,and doing now will from our future ,The karma of past ,present ,and future avents are connected by the law of cause and effect.

     

    因果状态取决于道德伦理的品质和日常行为意志的熟练水平,我们在做决定时很大程度上取决于我们的思维,言语,及过去的经验。我们的所思,所想,所做构成了我们的未来。过去因果,现在因果,未来因果都和原因和结果有关。

     

    For instance ,if one generates bad karma by hurting or killing sentient beings ,one will have to endure the negative consequences of these deeds in this or another ,lifetime ,similary ,if one generates good karma by observing the precepts ,positive ,consequences will follow inevitably .

    例如,如果产生了坏的因果源自于伤害或杀害一个存在的个体,那么他这一生或来生必须忍受这一行为带来的负面结果。同样对于戒律的思考必然能带来积极的结果,产生好的因果。

     

    Buddhists understand karma as a natural law .There is no higher instance ,no judgement ,no divine intervention ,and no goda that steer man’s destiny ,but only the law of karama itself ,which work on a global time frame .Deed ,yield consequences either in the next second ,in the next hours ,day ,mouth , year ,decade ,or even in the nextlifetime ,or in anther distant lifetime ,To illustrate  this ,consider the following example describing a sequence of vontional  acts ,which yield instant karmaic results :

     

    佛教释全了因果是一种自然法则,不是高不可攀的存在,不是一种评价,不是神圣的干涉,不是上帝统治人的命运,仅仅是这因果法则的本身作用于所有的方面。行为产生结果,或者在下一秒,在下一个小时,下一天,下一个月,明年,未来十年,或在遥远的来生。概念之一,请参考下列的例子所描述的一系列日常行为所产生的结果,这是一种直接性的因果结果。

    Love means that I know the person I love .I’m aware of  the many sides of the other person –not just the beautiful side but also the limitations, inconsistencies and faults. I have an  awareness of the other’s feeling and thoughts, and I experience something of the core of that person. I can penetrate social marks and roles and see the other person on a deeper level.
     

    爱意味着了解.

        Love means that I care about the welfare of the person I love. To the extent that it is genuine, my caring is not possessive, nor does it hold the other person back. On the  contrary , my caring frees both of us .If I care about you , I’m concerned about your growth , and I hope you will become all that you will become . Consequently, I don’t put up obstacles to what you do that enhances you as a person, even though it may result in my discomfort at times .

     Love means having respect for the dignity of the person I love. If I love you, I can see you as a separate person, with your own values and thoughts and feelings, and I do not insist that you surrender your identity to match an image of what I expect you to be for me. I can allow and encourage you to stand alone and to be who you are, and I avoid treating you as an object or using you primarily to satisfy my own needs.

      Love means having a responsibility toward the person I love. If I love you, I respond to most of your major needs as a person. This responsibility does not include my doing for you what you are capable of doing for yourself; nor does it mean that I run your life for you. It does mean acknowledging that what I am and what I do affects you, so that I am directly involved in your happiness and your suffering. A lover does have the capacity to hurt or ignore the loved one, and in this sense we see that live involves an acceptance of some responsibility for the impact my way of being has on you.

        Love can tolerate imperfection. In a love relationship there are times when I am bored, times when I may feel like giving up, times of real strain, and times I feel I can’t move forward. Authentic love does not imply enduring happiness. I can stay during rough times, however, because I can remember what we had together in the past, and I can picture what what we will have together in our future if we care enough to face our problems and work them through. We agree with the idea that love is a spirit that changes life. Love is a way of life that is creative and that transforms. However, love is not reserved for a perfect world. Love is meant for our imperfect world where things go wrong. Love is meant to be a spirit that works in painful situations. Love is meant to bring meaning into life where nonsense appears to rule. In other words, love means into an imperfect world to make it possible to live.

        Love is open. If I love you, I encourage you to reach out and develop other relationships. Although our love for each other and our commitment to each other might prohibit certain actions on our parts, we are not totally and exclusively married to each other. It is a false love that cements one person to another in such a way that he or she is not given room to grow.

    宽松的婚姻

    一种观念认为,相爱的夫妇间必须绝对忠诚,以各自的行为乃至思想不得有丝毫隐瞒,否则便亵渎了纯洁的爱和神圣的婚姻。一个人在有了足够的阅历后便会知道,这是一种多么幼稚的观念。问题在于,即使是极深笃的爱缘,或者说,正因为是极深笃的爱缘,乃至于白头偕老,共度人生,那么,在漫长岁月中,各人怎么可能、又怎么应该没有自己的若干小秘密呢?

      爱情史上不乏忠贞的典范,但是,后人发掘的材料往往证实,在这类佳话与事实之间多半有着不小的出入。依我看,只要爱情本身是真实的,那么,即使当事人有一些不愿为人知悉甚至不愿为自己的爱人知悉的隐秘细节,也完全无损于这种真实性。

      我无法设想,两个富有个性的活生生的人之间的天长日久的情感生活,会是一条没有任何暗流或支流、永远不起波澜的平坦河流。倘这样,那肯定不是大自然中的河流,而只是人工修筑的水渠,倒反见其不真实了。当然,爱侣之间应该有基本的诚实和相当的透明度。但是,万事都有个限度。水至清无鱼,苛求绝对诚实反而会酿成不信任的氛围,甚至逼出欺骗和伪善。

      一种健全的爱侣关系的前提是互相尊重,包括尊重对方的隐私权。这种尊重一方面基于爱和信任,另一方面基于对人性弱点的宽容。羞于追问相爱者难以启齿的小隐秘,乃是爱情中的自尊和修养。

      也许有人会问:宽容会不会助长人性弱点的恶性发展,乃至毁坏爱的基础呢?

      我的回答是:凡是会被信任和宽容毁坏的,猜疑和苛求也决计挽救不了,那就让该毁掉的毁掉吧。说到底,会被信任和宽容毁坏的爱情本来就是脆弱的,相反,猜疑和苛求却可能毁坏最坚固的爱情。我们冒前一种险,却避免了后一种更坏的前途,毕竟是值得的。

    爱情不风流

      

      

       有一个字,内心严肃的人最不容易说出口,有时是因为它太假,有时是因为它太真。

     

      爱情不风流,爱情是两性之间最严肃的一件事。

     

      调情是轻松的,爱情是沉重的。风流韵事不过是躯体的游戏,至多还是感情的游戏。可是,当真的爱情来临时,灵魂因恐惧和狂喜而战栗了。

     

     

     爱情不风流,因为它是灵魂的事。真正的爱情是灵魂与灵魂的相遇,肉体的亲昵仅是它的结果。不管持续时间是长是短,这样的相遇极其庄严,双方的灵魂必深受震撼。相反,在风流 韵事中,灵魂并不真正在场,一点儿小感情只是肉欲的佐料。

     

      爱情不风流,因为它极认真。正因为此,爱情始终面临着失败的危险,如果失败又会留下很深的创伤,这创伤甚至可能终身不愈。热恋者把自己全身心投入对方并被对方充满,一旦爱 情结束,就往往有一种被掏空的感觉。风流韵事却无所谓真正的成功或失败,投入甚少,所以退出也甚易。

     

      爱情不风流,因为它其实是很谦卑的。"爱就是奉献"--如果除去这句话可能具有的说教 意味,便的确是真理,准确地揭示了爱这种情感的本质。爱是一种奉献的激情,爱一个人,就会遏制不住地想为她()做些什么,想使她快乐,而且是绝对不求回报的。爱者的快乐就在这奉献之中,在他所创造的被爱者的快乐之中。最明显的例子是父母对幼仔的爱,推而广 之,一切真爱均应如此。可以用这个标准去衡量男女之恋中真爱所占的比重,剩下的就只是情欲罢了。

     

      爱情不风流,因为它需要一份格外的细致。爱是一种了解的渴望,爱一个人,就会不由自主地想了解她的一切,把她所经历和感受的一切当作最珍贵的财富接受过来,精心保护。如果 你和一个异性发生了很亲密的关系,但你并没有这种了解的渴望,那么,我敢断定你并不爱她,你们之间只是又一段风流因缘罢了。

     

      爱情不风流,因为它虽甜犹苦,使人销魂也令人断肠,同时是天堂和地狱。正如纪伯伦所说 --  "爱虽给你加冠,它也要把你钉在十字架上。它虽栽培你,它也刈剪你。

     

      "它虽升到你的最高处,抚惜你在日中颤动的枝叶。它也要降到你的根下,摇动你的根柢的 一切关节,使之归土。"

     

      所以,内心不严肃的人,内心太严肃而又被这严肃吓住的人,自私的人,懦弱的人,玩世不恭的人,饱经风霜的人,在爱情面前纷纷逃跑了。

     

      所以,在这人际关系日趋功利化、表面化的时代,真正的爱情似乎越来越稀少了。有人愤激地问我:"这年头,你可听说某某恋爱了,某某又失恋了?"我一想,果然少了,甚至带有浪漫色彩的风流韵事也不多见了。在两性交往中,人们好像是越来越讲究实际,也越来越潇 洒了。

     

      也许现代人真是活得太累了,所以不愿再给自己加上爱情的重负,而宁愿把两性关系保留为一个轻松娱乐的园地。也许现代人真是看得太透了,所以不愿再徒劳地经受爱情的折磨,而 宁愿不动感情地面对异性世界。然而,逃避爱情不会是现代人精神生活空虚的一个征兆吗? 爱情原是灵肉两方面的相悦,而在普遍的物欲躁动中,人们尚且无暇关注自己的灵魂,又怎 能怀着珍爱的情意去发现和欣赏另一颗灵魂呢?

     

      可是,尽管真正的爱情确实可能让人付出撕心裂肺的代价,却也会使人得到刻骨铭心的收获。逃避爱情的代价更大。就像一万部艳情小说也不能填补《红楼梦》的残缺一样,一万件风 流韵事也不能填补爱情的空白。如果男人和女人之间不再信任和关心彼此的灵魂,肉体徒然亲近,灵魂终是陌生,他们就真正成了大地上无家可归的孤魂了。如果亚当和夏娃互相不再 有真情甚至不再指望真情,他们才是真正被逐出了伊甸园。

     

      爱情不风流,因为风流不过尔尔,爱情无价。
